The 2023 College of Sciences Annual Research Conference will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 on the Brownsville campus. The activities will be centered in and around the El Gran Salon in the Student Union and nearby rooms and lecture halls. The conference features student presentations and posters, networking opportunities, graduate program information, a job fair and Q&A with COS scientists and a luncheon of for the Women in Science Network (WISE). The awards for the best presentations and posters will be framed by a keynote address.
The conference offers an opportunity to students to present their original research, scholarly activities and creative projects to the university community. It will consist of oral and poster presentations. We are excited to fully embrace the STEAM idea by accepting science-related arts and creative projects into this year’s conference.
